Merseyside is a metropolitan county in North West England, with a population of 1.38 million. It encompasses the metropolitan area centred on both banks of the lower reaches of the Mersey Estuary, and comprises five metropolitan boroughs: Knowsley, St Helens, Sefton, Wirral, and the city of Liverpool. Merseyside, which was created on 1 April 1974 as a result of the Local Government Act 1972, takes its name from the River Mersey.
NorthWest Catering and Event Hire deliver catering equipment and event furniture throughout Merseyside
Other nearby towns are not part of Merseyside, such as Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, Warrington, Runcorn, Widnes and Ellesmere Port (all parts of either Cheshire or Lancashire), but the designation "Greater Merseyside" has sometimes been adopted for Merseyside and these six towns unofficially. This also has a semi-official usage by some local authorities and organisations and is used by Geographers' A-Z Map Company for their Merseyside Street Atlas. However, a separate 'City region', comprising Merseyside and Halton, has some official recognition as being Greater Merseyside, although it has also been referred to as Liverpool City Region. Halton also forms part of the Merseyside NUTS region.
Our drivers are frequently in the area - below is a sample of some of the hire they deliver.
The knife, fork and spoon are some of the cheapest items we offer at North West Catering and Event Hire, but they are an integral part of our business and the growth we have seen. With five different ranges of cutlery always in stock we have literally thousands of pieces of cutlery ready for hire.
Cutlery isn’t just about forks and spoons though. We offer speciality knives and pieces of cutlery equipment to make serving at your event or special occasion easier. Whether you’re cutting cheese, meat or even a wedding cake, we’ve got the knife you need for the job.
If you hate washing up, you don’t need to worry. Our “send it back dirty service” means that you can scrape your cutlery, put it all back in the packing crates and leave it for us to handle back at our warehouse. It certainly beats washing spoons up until the early hours of the morning!
Whether it’s chafing dishes to keep food warm or double bottle coolers to keep beer cold, we’ve got you covered with our range of catering equipment hire. We have an extensive selection of ovens, fridges and cookers ready for use in a range of situations.
Some items, like our double bottle coolers and display fridges are equally popular in an outdoor setting at events like festivals and fetes as they are for indoor events. These kinds of items are incredibly popular in the summer and availability can get stretched. In colder times there’s nothing better than a nice warm pie or pastry – and no better piece of equipment to make it than our turbofan ovens.
We stock appliances powered both by gas and electricity to give our customers maximum of choice. All appliances are inspected, cleaned and tested prior to delivery for peace of mind.
We have a great range of chair hire to suit any kind of events you can think of. We can offer everything from designer chairs for expos and special occasions to plastic chairs for outside events with lots in between.
Our conference chairs are designed to be durable enough to be used in all day meetings yet are comfy enough that your delegates won’t be complaining. They can be stacked easily so that they can be rearranged quickly if needed.
We have a range of banqueting chairs to bring a touch of elegance to your wedding or special occasion. With various colour chairs and seat pads always in stock there is sure to be something to match your aesthetic. We also offer elegant Chiavari banqueting chairs, based on the classic Italian design. These chairs are built in a specific way to make them strong enough to last up to a proper feast, yet still have a beautiful style.
If you’re in need of chairs for an outdoor event, then we can help you. These range from standard plastic chairs and garden chairs to rattan sofas and metal bistro chairs. These are all made from materials that can stand the changeable British climate.
