Oldham

North West Catering and Event Hire are proud to deliver event hire and catering hire across Greater Manchester, Merseyside and the surrounding areas including to Oldham.

Oldham is a town in Greater Manchester and administrative centre of the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, which also includes the towns Chadderton, Crompton, Failsworth, Royton along with the village of Lees and the parish of Saddleworth.

Historically, Oldham was part of Lancashire. The town only really rose to prominence during the Industrial Revolution when it became a centre for textile manufacturing. It became a boomtown and one of the first ever industrialised towns which at it's zenith was the most productive cotton spinning mill town in the world. However, much the same as the surrounding areas textile manufacturing started to die off in the post-war years with the last mill in town closing in 1998.

That demise in the textile industry heavily affected the local economy, with the town now predominately residential serving as a commuter town for nearby Manchester. There are efforts to improve the town centre to help push Oldham as a centre for further education and the performing arts.

Our drivers are often in the local region delivering catering equipment hire and event furniture. Some of the products we can deliver to you include:

Whether it’s a party, a celebration or a huge blowout meal, getting an event right comes down to good planning. With the right glass hire it can be easy to make your event sparkle.

If you’re raising a glass to success it’s hard to go wrong with our Saxon Savoie champagne flutes. Like all of our glass hire, our flutes are all individually checked and cleaned before being packed in our special packing crates prior to delivery to you.

We have a huge selection of glasses for hire available so if it’s 50 or 500 guests drinking wine, cocktails or even beer we’re bound to have what you need.

Weddings are supposed to be all about the happy couple on the best day of their lives. Wedding days are meant to be remembered for all the right reasons – such as the blushing bride, the handsome groom, the elegant setting and the delicious food. What really shouldn’t happen is for a wedding to be ruined by ripped table linen, dirty plates or there not being enough glasses to go around.

It’s commonplace these days for couples-to-be to want to take complete control of their wedding planning and costs. Our vision is to offer our customers a one-stop shop for everything from crockery to linen, and cutlery to furniture. All of our prices are available online, so that it’s easy to work out just how much the wedding hire you need will cost without having to go backwards and forwards getting quotes.
