Having the right cooking hire for your kitchen is essential if your event or occasion is to go smoothly. Whether using electricity or LPG as fuel, we've sourced the right kitchen hire equipment for you.

Catering equipment such as cooking hire is the cornerstone of what we do at Expo Hire North West. We’ve made it our aim to source equipment which can be relied upon even in the busiest kitchen.

What cooking hire is there on offer?

We have a diverse cooking hire range, which is fuelled by both LPG and electricity, designed for inside and outside use. When sourcing our kitchen hire we've made every effort to get industry standard equipment, so that our customers have the utmost peace of mind. We work with venues throughout Greater Manchester, Liverpool & North West England, providing catering equipment hire not only for one-off events but to help cover breakdowns and issues.

All of our LPG equipment can be run on LPG bottles with standard bayonet fittings, while our electric equipment can all be run from a standard UK three pin plug. However, we do recommend checking the wattage of electric equipment as it can trip extension leads and generators. LPG products are designed for use outside, where they can provide lots of power without fear of tripping generators or extension leads.

Oven Hire in the North West

The most frequently hired range within our catering equipment offering is oven hire. We rent ovens out to all kinds of venues across Greater Manchester, Liverpool & North West England, from comercial kitchens where a breakdown has occurred to weekend pop up events. Unlike many of our competitors, we continuously source new ovens for hire to ensure that we offer the best quality at all times.

We have both LPG and electric ovens available. Our LPG six burner ovens are suited to outside events where a lot of power is required such as pop up kitchens and large outdoor events. These ovens for hire run off LPG bottles, which we hire out separately. Connection is relatively simple to do but we do recommend that any customer who does not feel comfortable hooking these up to utilise the services of a Gas Safe engineer.

The electric Blue Seal Turbofan Ovens for hire are best used in indoor kitchens due to the large amount of power that they draw. These ovens are perfect for any kitchen that needs to bake, roast or grill lots of items, and are gastro tray compatible. We rent ovens like this frequently, and in the summer demand can be particularly high; as availability is limited we recommend booking early.

Our other Kitchen Hire available

Ovens are not the only items we have available in our cooking hire selection. We have a wide range of catering equipment hire available from barbecues to toasters, and griddles to grills.

One of our most popular products are LPG Fryers. Our LPG fryers for hire are great for pop up kitchens outdoors and offer lots of power and capacity which is just not achieveable by a comparable electrical product. These often go to streetfood stalls at food markets in the North West, where they can be used safely and with confidence.

There is also a selection of other equipment available for more specialised cooking such as rice cookers, rotisserie ovens and conveyor toasters.

Do you need to order gas?

All of our LPG equipment is supplied without gas bottles. Please order separately if you need them

  • 13kg LPG Bottles are suitable for patio heaters
  • 19kg LPG Bottles are suitable for all other LPG equipment we stock
  • 30mm wrench required to attach bottles to equipment - can also be hired separately
  • If unsure about connecting bottles to equipment utilise a Gas Safe Engineer

Do kitchen hire items need to be cleaned?

There is no need to be concerned about cleaning catering equipment hire after an event or occasion, even if time and energy are going to be factors during clean up and breakdown. We offer a "send it back dirty" service which means you can leave the scrubbing to us.

We know from experience how catering equipment hire can be hard to clean after a hire period of full usage; barbecues and ovens in particular can get very greasy very quickly. Instead of donning the marigolds, for just 25% of the hire price you can leave all the cleaning to us. Select the "send it back dirty" service in the checkout, wipe off any food debris or liquid before collection and we’ll sort the rest.

How does delivery of cookery hire work?

All of our electric products are cleaned, checked and PAT tested prior to delivery. At Expo Hire North West we pride ourselves on safety and as such we can provide evidence of inspection and PAT testing prior to delivery. All of our electric products are powered by a standard three pin UK plug, meaning you can simply plug and play. But remember, you'll need to check your power requirements prior to use, to ensure they are not overloaded.

We pride ourselves on safety at Expo Hire North West, and that's why all of our LPG equipment is regularly serviced and certified by a Gas Safe Engineer.

We can provide certificates of this on request, once hire is booked. Please Note: Our LPG products are supplied with a hose and regulator and connect directly to the LPG bottle by a standard bayonet fitting.

Our drivers cannot attach or set up equipment for you - if you are not comfortable connecting the fittings, we recommend consulting a Gas Safe engineer.
