Delivery and Collection Service
When ordering hire items from North West Catering and Event Hire we aim to give you the best service we can. Our drivers deliver catering equipment and exhibition furniture seven days a week, between 8am and 8pm. When you go through the checkout process, you can choose on what day you would like your items delivered and collected. Our delivery drivers will give you a call on the day when they are about half an hour out to advise you to get ready and to check access details.
Should you need a definitive time of delivery then please advise us either in the notes when checking out or by calling us when you place your order and we’ll do our best to fit it into our schedule. However, there will be an additional fee applicable for this based on how precise a time slot you require. We always recommend delivery at least 24 hours prior to your event.
The price of our standard delivery and collection service depends on your location, we charge £20 for the first 10 miles then £2.00 per mile there after. This service is very very popular, as such it gets booked up weeks in advance. Please book as early to avoid disappointment, especially during the very busy Christmas period and summer months.

Our standard delivery services means your order will be delivered by a single driver. He will drop off your order at your front door/reception, due to time, cost constraints and issues regarding insurance he is uable to deliver beyond this point. If you require multiple drivers or delivery to a more challenging location then you must give us advanced noticed. Please ensure you have enough people available to take the goods from the driver and return them afterwards. If sufficient people are not available, or the location isn't easily accessible, the driver can decide to leave. This is a horrible situation so if you know that people will not be there to help, or if your location is challenging, then speak to us beforehand.
If you require a time slot there is an additional charge. We plot our driver routes to be as efficient and economic as possible, with deliveries and collections occurring at any time between 8am and 8pm. Should you require a time slot for delivery or collection you should request this at the time of booking by writing a note in the customer comments. We will then check availability and call you to confirm the slot and payment. Slots are priced on a sliding scale, with a four hour slot costing a minimum of £20, a two hour slot £50 and a one hour slot £100. These prices are exclusive of VAT.
Our premium delivery service can be selected in the checkout for more difficult deliveries. On these deliveries we will send out two people in the van to ensure the delivery can be made as efficiently and quickly as possible. Our delivery and collection service is tailored to meet your exact requirements. In the unlikely event that there are any unforeseen problems our drivers will contact you and keep you fully informed on our progress.
Please note, a delivery and collection service involves four separate journeys for us. The delivery fees barely cover the cost of petrol nevermind the driver, van, insurance etc.
