As you can imagine from the fanfare we made when we launched our new websites, we’re very proud of them. However, we have even more reason to be proud of our websites right now after our parent company The Evolved Hire Group were shortlisted for the ESSA Innovation of the Year (Tech) Award.
The Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) are the trade body representing the very best suppliers of goods and services to the events industry. With a focus on Health & Safety, education, business development and driving excellence and shared best practice, ESSA and its members sit at the centre of the events community both in the UK and overseas.
As an online-only event hire company, our website is at the very heart of what we do at North West Catering and Event Hire. It has allowed us to streamline the hiring process in such a way that our customers can easily pick the items that they want for when they want them without having to wait for quotes to be approved or phones to be answered.
Having all the order process through our website makes it easier for us to be transparent with hire costs too. All stock online is displayed with pricing, while our new carriage calculator means that aren’t any surprising delivery or collection charges either. Customers can log into their account to see their orders online, making it easy to make repeat orders or to check details.
Nomination for this award is not only reward for the hard yards put in to create and maintain our unique web-based approach to catering and event hire, but for the great work done by all of our staff to make the company the best it can be.
